Theatre Director

Airlie works regularly as a Theatre director (primarily with young people) and is currently directing for Brackley Youth Theatre- an outdoor productiion of “A Midsummer NIght’s Dream” at Evenley Woods.this July, for the Camphill Chyrsalis Theatre with their summer pantomime. She also works as a Drama practitioner training teachers in “Create and Sing” Opera projects for the Royal Opera House.

With British Youth Music Theatre UK she directed : “T’was a Dickens of a Murder”, (2017), “Tales of the Jazz Age” (2016) and “The Juniper Tree” (2015).  https://britishyouthmusictheatre.org/

She directed three youth operas for Summer Music on the Shannon/in Galway Festival in Ireland. The operas were:  “The Green Children” by Nicola Lefanu,  “Eloise” by Karl Jenkins and “Deep Waters” by Cecila McDowall and Christie Dickason.

Other directing credits include being assistant director with Good Company for the “Strange Kind of Hero” and “Emma” National Tours,  directing and facilitating numerous projects with young people for Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Perform, and Bigfoot Arts Education.
